fala, together with experimental, romea muryn and pomo, was awarded the first prize in the IHRU public competition ‘julio santos’, in setubal. with 48 apartments and over 6.500m2 of construction, the proposal is organised in two levitating volumes with distinct personalities.

the project departs from a laid-back feasibility study, to be now challenged, hopefully offering an alternative to how public controlled costs housing is seen and planned, in portugal, today. families are predicted to move in until 2026.
